Happy May to the P.S. 160Q Community!
As we enter the last couple of months in the school year, there is still much fun and learning to be had in the classrooms and with the Wellness In the Schools Team. Upcoming events include this month's Family Fun Fitness Night on Friday, May 12, 2017. We will have activities for the whole family and students, such as Zumba, group exercises and a catered dinner. The fun begins at 6:30 pm, with sign up in the cafeteria starting at 6:00pm.
Additionally we have our final cooking lab of the school year coming up. We are doing Greens, celebrating how to enjoy simple salads with fun easy to make dressings. Check out a sneak peak of the recipes that we will be using below:

What is Wellness in the Schools (WITS)? Wellness in the Schools (WITS) is a program that inspires healthy eating, environmental awareness and fitness as a way of life for kids in public schools.
